Quality and Quantity
QUALITY AND QUANTITY MADE UP THIS YEAR’S ENTRIES TO THE FLAVOURS OF HERRIOT COUNTRY AWARDS
The finalists have now been unveiled for our 7th Flavours of Herriot Country Awards, and will be battling it out for a coveted Flavours of Herriot Country Award. And what an abundance of top notch entries were received this year, for our Chair of Judges, Susie Brindley, and her judging team of food and drink experts, to go forth and taste, test and digest, ready to make those very difficult decisions – choosing our winners.
We have been given so much support for The Flavours of Herriot Country Awards from so many, which reflects on the quality and standard of all the innovative businesses that enter.
Our Principal Supporter this year is North Yorkshire County Council, and our Main Sponsors are Hambleton County Council and Richmondshire District Council. We also have our Award Category sponsors, and a number of other generous sponsors. And the support of Welcome to Yorkshire, BBC Radio York, and our association with the World of James Herriot.
This year’s finalists have a chance of being voted for by the public, to choose their favourite, to win the Darlington and Stockton Times Reader’s Choice Award, which will be presented at the Awards event.
We are delighted to have as our guest speaker this year the well known BBCTV Antiques expert David Harper, a proud Yorkshire man and a great foodie!
