“I feel privileged to be involved in this year’s Flavour of Herriot Country Awards. BBC Radio York is delighted to be associated with the event which is a celebration of North Yorkshire’s food producers.’ ‘The county has a rich heritage, one of those being food and food producers. Hambleton and Richmondshire is full of good restaurants, hotels, bars, cafes, farm shops and delicatessens which form an important part of the areas economy which is vital to rural and town life. The awards will be a great recognition of what is important to this part of the county. I am really looking forward to a great event”.
