The 2019 Awards PResenter
BBC Radio York
Elly Fiorentini is a reporter and presenter at BBC Radio York. In the last year she’s reported and presented during the Christmas Floods, broadcast from the Tour de Yorkshire, covered the White Rose Awards (standing next to Gary was a wow moment – Barlow that is, sorry Sir Gary), and has worked closely with the families who’re fighting to get answers about the closure of York’s Bootham Park Hospital. Elly has also compered many charity events across the county.
“I feel privileged to be involved in this year’s Flavour of Herriot Country Awards. BBC Radio York is delighted to be associated with the event which is a celebration of North Yorkshire’s food producers.’ ‘The county has a rich heritage, one of those being food and food producers. Hambleton and Richmondshire is full of good restaurants, hotels, bars, cafes, farm shops and delicatessens which form an important part of the areas economy which is vital to rural and town life. The awards will be a great recognition of what is important to this part of the county. I am really looking forward to a great event”.
